Irish Stock Exchange plc, being the Listing Authority under the Migration of Participating Securities Act 2019 (No. 50 of 2019), in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 12 (5) of the Migration of Participating Securities Act 2019 , hereby makes the following order: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Citation and commencement. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Migration of Participating Securities Act 2019 (Appointment of Live Date) (Section 12(5)) Order 2021. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) This Order comes into operation on the 12th day of March 2021. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Definitions and interpretation. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2. (1) In this Order, “Act of 2019” means the Migration of Participating Securities Act 2019 (No. 50 of 2019). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) A word or expression that is used in this Order and which is also used in the Act of 2019 has the same meaning in this Order as it has in the Act of 2019. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Appointment of live date. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3. (1) Subject to paragraph (2), the 15th day of March 2021 at 00:01 hours is appointed as the live date for the purposes of section 12(5) of the Act of 2019, for those participating issuers referred to in the Schedule which have consented to the migration of participating securities to a nominated central securities depository, in accordance with the Act of 2019. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) The appointment of the live date in paragraph (1) applies in respect of those participating issuers referred to in the Schedule, which have consented to the migration of participating securities to a nominated central securities depository, in accordance with the Act of 2019. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
