S.I. No. 28/2022 - Cervicalcheck Tribunal Act 2019 (Section 12(3A)) (Extension of Period for Making of Claims) Order 2022


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 28th January, 2022.

I, STEPHEN DONNELLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3A) (as inserted by section 1 of the CervicalCheck Tribunal (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 22 of 2021)) of section 12 of the CervicalCheck Tribunal Act 2019 (No. 31 of 2019), being satisfied, having regard to the purposes of the CervicalCheck Tribunal Act 2019 , that there is good and sufficient reason for so doing, and having consulted with the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, the Minister for Justice and the Tribunal, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the CervicalCheck Tribunal Act 2019 (Section 12(3A)) (Extension of Period for Making of Claims) Order 2022.

2. The 26th day of July 2022 is specified for the purposes of paragraphs (a)(ii) and (b) of subsection (1) of section 12 of the CervicalCheck Tribunal Act 2019 (No. 31 of 2019).

This Order extends the period for receipt of claims by the CervicalCheck Tribunal to 26 July 2022.
