Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st April, 2022.

I, DARRAGH O’ BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Land Development Agency Act 2021 (No. 26 of 2021), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Land Development Agency Act 2021 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 31st day of March 2022 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Land Development Agency Act 2021 (No. 26 of 2021) shall come into operation:

(a) section 11;

(b) section 14;

(c) section 15;

(d) section 17;

(e) section 21;

(f) Part 3 (except insofar as it is already in operation);

(g) Part 4;

(h) Part 7 (other than subsection (7) of section 55);

(i) Part 8;

(j) Part 10 (except insofar as it is already in operation).

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage by section 1(2) of the Land Development Agency Act 2021 (No. 26 of 2021), this Order appoints 31 March 2022 as the day on which certain provisions of that Act come into operation.
