Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, Eamon Ryan, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 63 (1) of the Dublin Transport Authority Act 2008 (No. 15 of 2008) (as adapted by the Transport, Tourism and Sport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 (S. I. No. 351 of 2020)) hereby order as follows: | ||
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the National Transport Authority (Extension of Remit) (Fares Scheme) Order 2022. | ||
(2) This Order comes into operation on 01 August 2022. | ||
2. The functions assigned to the National Transport Authority under section 59 of the Dublin Transport Authority Act 2008 (No. 15 of 2008) are extended to apply generally to all areas in the State outside the Greater Dublin Area. | ||

This Order extends the remit of the functions assigned to the National Transport Authority under section 59 of the Dublin Transport Authority Act 2008 (No. 15 of 2008) to apply generally to all areas in the State outside the Greater Dublin Area. The Order comes into operation on 01 August 2022. |
