Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 (1) of the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 39 of 2022), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2022 (Appointed Day) Order 2022. | ||
2. The 1st day of January 2023 is the day appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 39 of 2022). | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage by section 6 (1) of the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 39 of 2022), this Order appoints 1 January 2023 as the Appointed Day for the purposes of the Act. |
