Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th November, 2023. | ||
I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Sex Offenders (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 9 of 2023), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Sex Offenders (Amendment) Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2023. | ||
2. The 13th day of November 2023 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Sex Offenders (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 9 of 2023) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) sections 1 to 13; | ||
(b) section 14(c); | ||
(c) sections 17 to 23; | ||
(d) sections 26 to 29; | ||
(e) section 30 (other than subsection (2)). | ||
