Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 17th May, 2024. | ||
I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 7 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2024. | ||
2. The 16th day of May 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 7 of 2024) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 4; | ||
(b) Part 2 in so far as it is not already in operation; | ||
(c) Part 3; | ||
(d) Part 4, other than sections 33 and 34; | ||
(e) Part 6; | ||
(f) Part 7; | ||
(g) Schedule 1. | ||
