Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigi il” of 14th June, 2024. | ||
I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 7 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order 2024. | ||
2. In this order, “Act of 2024” means the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 7 of 2024). | ||
3. The 14th day of June 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2024 shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 5; | ||
(b) Schedule 3. | ||
4. The 15th day of July 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2024 shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 33; | ||
(b) section 34. | ||
