DECISION
1. The unanimous decision of the tribunal was given orally with reasons at the end of the hearing. The decision was that the dismissal was automatically and procedurally unfair. The claimant was awarded £1,520.00 being the minimum basic award where a dismissal is automatically unfair as a result of non-compliance with the statutory dismissal procedure.
2. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
