CLAIMANT: Mary Robinson

RESPONDENT: A Magee Enterprises Ltd.

DEFAULT JUDGEMENT

1.     No response has been presented by the respondent to the Office of the Tribunals within the relevant time limit which has now passed.

2.     I therefore determine without a hearing, that the claimant’s claims for notice pay, holiday pay and a redundancy payment are well founded.

3.     On the basis of the information before me, it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £4,617.20, comprised as follows:

(a)  £2,772.00 redundancy pay;
(b)  £1,416.00 notice pay pursuant to Article 118 of the Employment Rights

      (Northern Ireland) Order 1996;

(c)  £165.20 holiday pay
(d) An additional sum of £264.00 pursuant to Article 27 of the Employment

(Northern Ireland) Order 2003 as the respondent did not provide the claimant   with written terms and conditions of employment

4. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (interest)

         Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
