DECISION
The decision of the tribunal is that the claimant is entitled to the sum of £4,095.00 in respect of redundancy pay.

The respondent did not appear and was not represented. No appearance was entered for the respondent.
1. I considered the claim form and the details contained within it and have decided that the claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment in the sum of £4,095.00 calculated as follows:
14 years x 1.5 weeks x £195.00 gross = £4,095.00
2. The claimant was dismissed on 9 March 2012 without receiving his redundancy payment.
3. His age at the effective date of termination was 63 and he had worked 14 full years for the respondent. His gross pay at that time was £195.00 per week and his net pay was £178.00.
4. I amended the title of proceedings to reflect the position which was that the employer was Robin Farquhar t/a W R Farquhar and Company.
5. The claimant claimed holiday pay but there was insufficient detail on the claim form to substantiate that claim. In the absence of oral evidence from the claimant I dismissed the claim for holiday pay.
6. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
