ARMY (ARTILLERY, ETC.) PENSIONS ACT 1833 - SECT 4

No fee to be taken from Chelsea out-pensioners for administering oath on receipt of pension, &c.

4. ... no fee or payment whatever shall be demanded or taken from any
out-pensioner of Chelsea hospital, or charged against him, for administering
or attesting any oath necessary or required to be taken for the receipt of any
pension or allowance of money payable at or from Chelsea hospital, or for the
making or executing or attesting any assignment of out-pension, or orders of
justices relating to any out-pension, or to any payment on account thereof.
