AGRICULTURE (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1965 -
LONG TITLE

An Act to make further provision with respect to licences for
wholesale dealing in and permits for the export of poultry, the
cold and chemical storage of eggs, the fees for licences for
wholesale dealing in eggs, returns as to agricultural land,
agricultural development loans and the manufacture of dairy ice-cream;
to amend the Diseases of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 1958; to
extend the regulation of the sending of meat, bacon and dead
rabbits out of Northern Ireland; to prohibit the sale or sending
out of Northern Ireland of horned cattle; and for purposes connected
with the matters aforesaid.

AGRICULTURE (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1965 -
SECT 1

1. There shall be added to the classes of licences which may be
issued under the Marketing of Poultry Act (Northern Ireland) 1949
(in sections 2, 3 and 4 referred to as "the Act of 1949")
licences to be known as Class D licences, and accordingly ...

SECT 18
Regulation of manufacture of dairy ice-cream.

18.(1) The Marketing of Milk Products Act (Northern Ireland) 1958
(which contains provisions as to the licensing of persons
manufacturing milk products, the registration of premises used for
such manufacture and the maintenance of proper standards of quality
of such products) shall apply to dairy ice-cream in like manner as
it applies to milk products and accordingly ... residue amends ss.5,

AGRICULTURE (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1965 -
SECT 20
Prohibition of sale or sending out of Northern Ireland of horned
cattle.

20.(1) Any person who sells or offers or exposes for sale or sends
out of Northern Ireland or who attempts to, or permits or causes
any other person to, sell or offer or expose for sale or send out
of Northern Ireland any horned cattle (other than cattle having
rudimentary or stub horns) shall be guilty of an offence and shall
be liable on summary conviction

(a)to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds; or

(b)if the offence is committed with respect to more than five
animals, to a fine not exceeding ten pounds for each such animal.

(2) This section shall not apply to cattle born before the passing
of this Act.

(3) The Ministry of Agriculture may by order made subject to
negative resolution exempt from the provisions of this section cattle
of such classes or descriptions as may be specified in the order.

(4) In this section "cattle" means bulls, cows, bullocks, heifers,
calves, steers or oxen.

Short title.

23. This Act may be cited as the Agriculture (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act (Northern Ireland) 1965.
