Money to be the present currency. 174. The several sums of money in this Act mentioned shall be deemed to be the present lawful money of Great Britain and Ireland; and ... no notice, recognizance, warrant, resolution, or other proceeding or matter whatsoever served, made, taken, passed or had under this Act shall be impeached on any technical or formal grounds, or for any informality, provided it shall be in substance conformable to the provisions of this Act.
