An Act for empowering His Majesty to shorten the Time for the Meeting of
Parliament in cases of Adjournment.{1} [12th October 1799] Preamble.
His Majesty may issue his royal proclamation for the meeting of Parliament in
not less than 6 days, notwithstanding any previous adjournment to a longer
day.
