QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY OF BELFAST ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1938 - LONG
TITLE

An Act to alter the constitution of the Senate of the Queen's
University of Belfast.
[24th November 1938]
Amendment of 1908 c.38 and 1926 c.13.

QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY OF BELFAST ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1938 - SECT 1

1. The constitution of the Senate of the Queen's University of
Belfast shall be altered as follows:

(a)the honorary treasurer of the University and the secretary of the
Academic Council (if a member of that Council) shall be ex-officio
members of the Senate;

(b)accordingly the Schedule to this Act shall be substituted for
paragraph B of the First Schedule to the Irish Universities Act,
1908, as amended by the Queen's University of Belfast Act (Northern
Ireland), 1926, and the said Acts and Section IX (5) of the
Charter of the University shall have effect subject to the
provisions of this Act.

Short title.

2. This Act may be cited as the Queen's University of Belfast Act
(Northern Ireland), 1938.
