RENT (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1978 - SECT 57 



57.(1) Nothing in this Part shall affect the jurisdiction of the High Court in
proceedings

(a)to enforce a lessor's right of re-entry or forfeiture;

(b)to enforce a mortgagee's right of possession in a case where the former
tenancy was not binding on the mortgagee.

(2) Nothing in this Part shall affect the operation of

(a)section 19 of the Defence Act 1842;

(b)section 91 of the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act 1845;

(c)section 5(1) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1912.
