76. Notwithstanding anything in section 34 of the Magistrates' Courts Act (Northern Ireland) 1964, proceedings for an offence under Article 22, 23, 24, 28, 30 or 31(4) may be brought at any time within two years next after the commission of the offence, or within six months next after the first discovery thereof by the prosecutor, whichever period is the shorter.
