VEHICLES (EXCISE) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1972 - SECT 24 



24.(1) The Ministry may by regulations make such provision as it considers
appropriate with respect to the marking of the engines and bodies of
mechanically propelled vehicles.

(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations under
this section may include provision

(a)as to the persons by whom and the times at which engines and bodies of
vehicles are to be marked;

(b)as to the form of any mark and the manner and position in which it is to be
made; and

(c)for requiring particulars of marks made in pursuance of the regulations to
be furnished to the Ministry.
