The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 6(2) of the Street Trading Act (Northern Ireland) 2001[1] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Street Trading (Form of Licence) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2001.
Form of licence for street trading
2.
A street trading licence shall be in the form set out in the Schedule.
Revocation
3.
The Street Trading Regulations 1929[2] are hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
The Street Trading Act (Northern Ireland) 2001
Form of Licence
District/Borough/City Council
Part I
The above council, in exercise of its powers under sections 6, 7 and 9(2) of the Street Trading Act (Northern Ireland) 2001, hereby grants to:

Part II
Standard Conditions subject to which Licence is granted
1.
The licence shall be operational between the following hours and on the following days:

*(a) as a stationary trader in the following street trading pitch (include the location)
or
*(b) as a mobile trader in the following area or areas (include the streets and location, if applicable)

The following classes of articles, things or services may be sold or supplied or exposed or offered for sale or supply:

The following nature, size, type and number of receptacles will be used:

The name of the licence holder and the number of the licence will be displayed on the receptacle so used in a prominent position in the following manner:

The following method of payment to the council of fees and charges imposed under section 15 of the Street Trading Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 will apply:

The following requirements apply to the storage of articles, things or receptacles before, during and after trading:

The following requirements apply to the deposit and removal of refuse including the type of containers to be used for the deposit of such refuse and their location pending its removal:

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These Regulations prescribe the form of a street trading licence, including its renewal and any variation in the conditions, which may be issued by a District Council authorising a person to trade as a stationary or mobile street trader.
