Coming into operation
14th April 2008
1.–(1) This Order may be cited as the Health and Personal Social Services (Joint Committee for Commissioning) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 and shall come into operation on 14 April 2008.
(2) In this Order–
"the Order" means the Health and Personal Social Services (Joint Committee for Commissioning) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007 (3).
2. For Article 3 of the Order (Functions of the Joint Committee), there shall be substituted–
"The Joint Committee shall undertake the following functions in relation to the provision of health and personal social services:
the development of a framework and plan for efficient and effective commissioning and supervision of the implementation of such framework and plan; and
to manage the resources required by the four Boards to establish and maintain efficient and effective commissioning."
