The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 3(2) and 3(4) of the Health and Personal Social Services (Special Agencies) (Northern Ireland) Order 1990(1).
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency (Establishment and Constitution) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 and shall come into operation on 26th May 2011.
(2) In this Order "the principal Order" means the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency (Establishment and Constitution) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004(2).
2. In Article 5(1) (Disqualification for appointment) of the principal Order, delete sub-paragraph (h).

This Order removes the disqualification for appointment relating to persons holding employment of office with a trade union which represents the interests of members who are employed by a health and social services body.
