The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 18 of the Dogs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(1).
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Dogs (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No.1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011.
(2) In this Order "the Act" means the Dogs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Act listed in the Schedule is 28th July 2011.

This Order brings into operation on 28th July 2011 the provisions of the Dogs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 listed in the Schedule to this Order.
