Road Traffic And Vehicles
The Department of the Environment makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 13 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 2007(1).
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Immobilisation, Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 23rd April 2012.
2.-(1) The Road Traffic (Immobilisation, Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012(2) are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) In regulations 8(2)(a) and 19(2)(a) (false or misleading statements,etc) for "to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale" substitute "to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum".
(3) In regulation 20(2) (disputes) for "the appropriate court of summary jurisdiction" substitute "a court of summary jurisdiction".

These Regulations make minor corrections to the wording used in regulations 8(2)(a), 19(2)(a) and 20(2) to the Road Traffic (Immobilisation, Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012.
