1. These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Clubs (Notice relating to Age) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2012.
2. A notice under Article 34A of The Registration of Clubs (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 must-
(a)contain the information specified in the Schedule; and
(b)be contained in a document the dimensions of which are no less than 297mm in length and 210mm in width.

Regulation 2
It is an offence to supply intoxicating liquor to a person under the age of 18 on these premises.
It is an offence to supply intoxicating liquor to any person for consumption by a person under the age of 18 on these premises.
It is an offence for a person under the age of 18 to obtain or consume intoxicating liquor on these premises.
It is an offence for any person to obtain intoxicating liquor for a person under the age of 18 on these premises.
Where there is doubt as to whether a person is aged 18 years or over, intoxicating liquor will not be supplied to the person on these premises except on production of evidence showing the person to be 18 or over. Acceptable proof of age documents are:
a passport;
a photocard driving licence;
an electoral identity card; and
a photographic identity card of type approved by the British Retail Consortium for the purposes of its Proof of Age Scheme (PASS).
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations prescribe the notice relating to age that registered clubs must display in those areas of club premises where intoxicating liquor is supplied; the information to be contained in the notice in relation to offences concerning the supply to, obtaining or consumption of intoxicating liquor by persons under 18 years of age; and the list of acceptable proof-of-age documents where there is doubt as to whether a person is aged 18 years or over.
