1. This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Commission for Victims and Survivors for Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012, shall come into operation on 17th December 2012 and shall have effect from 23rd May 2008.
2. There shall be added to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, the office of member of the Commission for Victims and Survivors for Northern Ireland (3).

This Order adds the office of member of the Commission for Victims and Survivors for Northern Ireland to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It has retrospective effect from 23 May 2008 by virtue of Article 3(7) of that Order.

The Commission for Victims and Survivors for Northern Ireland was established by the Commission for Victims and Survivors Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 (2008 c.6(NI)), which amended the Victims and Survivors (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 (SI 2006/2953 (N I 17)).
