Mental Capacity

Coming into operation in accordance with regulation 1.
1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Mental Capacity (Deprivation of Liberty) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2019.
(2) In these Regulations "the principal Regulations" means the Mental Capacity (Deprivation of Liberty) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019(3).
2. After regulation 20 of the principal Regulations insert-
"20A. An exception certificate must be made on Form 10."

These Regulations amend the Mental Capacity (Deprivation of Liberty) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2019 to provide that an exception certificate must be made on Form 10 as included in the Schedule in the principal Regulations.
