Facts:

This was an advocation of an action for slander originally entertained before the Magistrates of Dundee, in which the Court, upon the merits of the proof, altered the interlocutor of the Lord Ordinary, and remitted simpliciter to the Magistrates, finding the advocator liable in expenses.
