Subject_Writer's Account.— Headnote:

Action at the instance of the trustees of the late John Thorburn, S. S. C. for payment of certain business accounts alleged to have been contracted between 20 and 30 years ago. Resting-owing was denied. The Lord Ordinary assoilzied the defender, and the Court adhered, Lord Medwyn observing, that, in such a ease, he put a great deal on the consideration, whether the claim was made by the party alleged to be in right thereof, or by his representatives.
