CONTAMINATION OF FOOD

The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 Revocation Order 2003

  Coming into force in accordance with article 1

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1) and (2) of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 Revocation Order 2003 and shall come into force at 1600 hours on 25th February 2003.

Revocation
     3. The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002[2], the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 Partial Revocation Order 2003[3] and the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 Partial Revocation (No. 2) Order 2003 [4] are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 ("the principal Order") which prohibited-

The principal Order had been partially revoked by the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 Partial Revocation Order 2003, and the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (West Coast) (No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2002 Partial Revocation (No. 2) Order 2003 which are also revoked by this Order. The effect of this Order is to remove the remaining prohibitions in respect of the areas of sea designated in the Schedule to the principal Order.
