CONTAMINATION OF FOOD

The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (Scotland) Partial Revocation Order 2003

  Laid before the Scottish Parliament 19th June 2003 
  Coming into force in accordance with article 1

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1) and (2) and 24(3) of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (Scotland) Partial Revocation Order 2003 and shall come into force at 1400 hours on 17th June 2003.

Revocation
     2. The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (Scotland) Order 2003[2] is hereby revoked in so far as it designates any part of the areas described as Areas 1 to 5 in the Schedule to that Order.

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order is a partial revocation of the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (Scotland) Order 2003 ("the principal Order") which prohibited-

The effect of this Order is to remove the prohibitions in respect of the areas of sea designated as Areas 1 to 5 in the Schedule to the principal Order.
