TITLE CONDITIONS

The Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2007

  Made 28th November 2007 
  Laid before the Scottish Parliament 29th November 2007 
  Coming into force 1st January 2008 

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 38(4) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003[1] and all other powers enabling them to do so.

     They are satisfied as to the matters mentioned in section 38(5) of that Act.

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st January 2008.

Additions to the list of prescribed conservation bodies
     2. Part II of the Schedule to the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003[2] (other bodies) is amended by inserting, in the appropriate places according to alphabetical order, the following bodies:–

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003 by adding Glasgow City Heritage Trust and Stirling City Heritage Trust to the list of prescribed conservation bodies. Conservation bodies are bodies in favour of whom it is competent to create a conservation burden under section 38(1) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003.
