The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 148(4) of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (Commencement) (Scotland) Order 2008.
2. The provisions of Part 6 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007, in so far as they apply in relation to Scotland, come into force on 21st April 2008.

This Order brings Part 6 (Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan) of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 into force on 21st April 2008 in relation to Scotland. Part 6 provides for the protection from seizure or forfeiture of cultural objects on loan from abroad for temporary public exhibition in the United Kingdom.
