The Scottish Ministers make the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 129(4) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2009.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of Part 6 of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 is 1st June 2009.

This Order brings the provisions of Part 6 of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 ("the Act") relating to the development management scheme into force on 1st June 2009. On the coming into force of Part 6 the Act is fully commenced.
The Act received Royal Assent on 3rd April 2003. Section 129(2) of the Act brought various provisions into force on the appointed day, 28th November 2004 (see section 122(1) of the Act and S.S.I.
2003/456). Section 129(3) and (5) of the Act specify provisions which came into force on the day after Royal Assent.

The following provisions of the Act have been brought into force by commencement order made before the date of this Order.
