The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 23(2)(c) of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004(1) and of all other powers enabling them to do so.
1. This Order may be cited as the Additional Support for Learning (Appropriate Agencies) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2010 and shall come into force on 16th August 2010.
2. For paragraph 2(c) of the Additional Support for Learning (Appropriate Agencies) (Scotland) Order 2005(2) (appropriate agencies) substitute–
"(c) The Skills Development Scotland Co. Limited".

This Order specifies that The Skills Development (Scotland) Co. Limited is an "appropriate agency" for the purpose of section 23 of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 and removes that specification from Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, which no longer carry out relevant functions.
