1)             By letter dated 25 May 2016 the appellant's solicitors informed the Tribunal that the appellant wished to withdraw the appeal because the Respondent had promised unequivocally to withdraw the decision that had resulted in the appeal being brought.

2)             Pursuant to rule 17(2) of the Tribunal Procedure (Upper Tribunal) Rules 2008 I give permission to the appellant to withdraw his appeal.
