For the Appellants | MR P BILLINGTON (Representative) TGWU Transport House 40/42 Abbey Street Accrington Lancashire BB5 1EB |
JUDGE WILSON: This is an appeal by Mr Deardon and Mr Sinkinson against the decision of the Employment Tribunal sitting in Manchester which found that neither appellant was dismissed for a reason falling within s. 152 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. The tribunal further found that the respondent Company was not in breach of either appellant's contract of employment.
We have considered the grounds of appeal and have had regard to the skeleton arguments submitted by Mr Billington which he has amplified orally before us today. In our judgment there is no merit in any of the grounds of appeal on behalf of either appellant, and accordingly, the applications of each are dismissed.
