Decision: The appeal is struck out.

    REASONS

  1. On 14 August 2024 the Appellant emailed the Tribunal stating that he wanted to appeal a decision of the Information Commissioner. On 22 August 2024 the Tribunal wrote to the Appellant asking him to provide a fully completed application form GRC1 and a copy of the decision challenged within 28 days. The Appellant did not comply with those directions.
  2. On 1 October 2024 a Senior Legal Officer directed the Appellant to provide a fully completed application form GRC1 and a copy of the decision to the Tribunal by no later than 17 October 2024. The direction warned the Appellant that failure to comply could lead to the Tribunal striking out the appeal without further direction, pursuant to Rule 8(3)(a) of The Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2009.
  3. The directions were sent to the Appellant by email on 1 October 2024. He responded later the same day to say he would respond within the deadline. However, he did not comply with the directions.
  4. I am satisfied that the Appellant has had a fair opportunity to comply with the directions of 1 October 2024 but has failed to do so.
  5. The appeal is struck out under Rule 8(3)(a).
  6. Signed Judge Watton
