13 September 2005, Local government (Borough council)
The complainant requested information relating to the prosecution of himself and legal action against his landlord. The Council responded that they did not hold any relevant information. Following the intervention of the Commissioner, the request was clarified and some information was provided by the Council. However the Commissioner believes that the initial request was insufficiently clear to enable the Council to identify the information sought and hence does not consider that the Act has been breached.
