e complainant requested statistical information from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) regarding tax credit claims. HMRC responded explaining that the requested information was not held as it did not collate the statistical information requested. The Commissioner has investigated and found that the information is held but that to comply with the request would exceed the cost limit.
