Summary: The complainant made a request for information about two police officers serving within Essex Police (the -�public authority-�). The information was withheld under the exemption in section 40(2) (personal information) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the -�Act-�). The Commissioner-�s decision is that the exemption at section 40(2) is engaged but that disclosure would not breach any of the principles in the Data Protection Act 1998 (the -�DPA-�).
