Summary: The complainant made a series of requests to Sunderland City Council (-˜the Council-™) between February 2008 and December 2009 regarding speed camera signage following his conviction for a speeding offence. The Council declared his request of 17 December 2009 to be vexatious under section 14(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (-˜the Act-™). The Commissioner has investigated and finds that the public authority correctly applied section 14(1) to the request. Information Tribunal appeal number EA/2010/0168 struck out.
