Summary: The complainant made a request to the Insolvency Service (the -˜Service-™) for information relating to bankruptcies. Owing to the context and history of the request, the Service determined that it should be deemed vexatious for the purposes of section 14(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Commissioner has investigated and has found that the Service was entitled to rely on section 14(1). The Service is therefore not required to take any steps in this matter.
