Summary: The complainant requested information, for each school year from 2005/2006 to the date of the request, on the numbers and costs of cross-border placements of pupils with statements of Special Education Needs for SpLD/Dyslexia at a named school in Solihull. The Council refused to provide the information citing section 40(2) of the Act. The Commissioner has investigated the complaint and finds that the Council correctly applied section 40(2) of the Act.
