Summary: The complainant requested a full copy of the Edlington Serious Case Review, suitably redacted, from Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council). The Council refused the request on the basis that it did not hold a copy of the report for the purposes of the Act. The Commissioner has investigated and concluded that the Council was entitled to say that it did not hold a copy of the report. Although he found procedural errors in the Council-™s handling of the request, the Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2011/0201 withdrawn.
