Summary: The complainant requested a copy of the report presented to the Ministry of Defence-™s (MOD) Defence Board concerning the successor submarine project. The MOD provided the complainant with a redacted version of the report but withheld the remaining parts on the basis of the exemptions contained at sections 26(1)(a), 27(1)(a), 36(2)(b)(i), 36(2)(b)(ii), and 43(2) of the Act. The Commissioner has concluded that all of these exemptions have been relied on correctly.
