Southampton City Council (Enforcement Notice) [2012] UKICO 2012-26 (25 July 2012)

The ICO has served an enforcement notice on Southampton City Council after the council breached the Data Protection Act by requiring taxi operators to record all conversations and images while the vehicles were in use.
