Summary: The complainant has requested copies of all the information held by the Met Office in relation to a specific meeting of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The Met Office withheld the information under regulations 12(3), 12(4)(d), 12(5)(a) and 12(5)(f) of the EIR. The Information Commissioner-™s (the Commissioner) decision is that the Met Office has applied regulation 12(5)(a) appropriately. The Commissioner does not require the Met Office do take any further steps. This decision notice is currently under appeal to the Information Tribunal.
