Summary: The complainant has requested a copy of a map, the New Forest National Park Authority-™s 2008 back up grazing plan. The New Forest National Park Authority refused to disclose the information because the information is incomplete, under the exception provided at regulation 12(4)(d) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR), and also because disclosure would adversely affect the interests of the persons supplying the information, under regulation 12(5)(f) of the EIR. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the New Forest National Park Authority has correctly refused the requested information under the provisions of regulation 12(5)(f) of the EIR. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation. Information Tribunal appeal number EA/2012/0244 dismissed.
