Summary: The complainant requested a copy of an application form for a Disability Facilities Grant and the criteria needed to apply. The Information Commissioner-s decision is that the Council breached section 10(1) of the Freedom of Information Act (-the FOIA-) by failing to respond in writing within 20 working days. The Council subsequently responded to say that it did not hold information within the scope of the request. However the Council provided an explanation of the administration of the Disability Facilities Grant and referred the complainant to the appropriate public body which administers the grant. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 1 - Complaint Not upheld, FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld
